Eucalyptus are the most commonly grown trees in the world. In this three-day, mini-course webinar, Drs. Nicolle and Ritter will begin with the basics of Eucalyptus trees and continue on to explore in depth the biology, ecology, selection, and uses of these versatile trees in the urban forest.

Dr. Dean Nicolle has authored many scientific publications on the systematics, taxonomy, functional ecology, biochemistry and cultivation of eucalypts, as well as several books on Australian eucalypts. He is a consulting arborist and runs the Currency Creek Arboretum. Dr. Dean Nicolle’s Website
Dr. Matt Ritter is a professor in California who has authored numerous scientific papers and botanical treatments on the biology and taxonomy of eucalypts. He is also the author of several books about trees. He’s the winner of the ISA R. W. Harris Award for excellence in education. Dr. Matt Ritter’s Website
