The BRITTON FUND
Established in 2006
as a non-profit, 501c(3) corporation, and separate entity from Western Chapter ISA
(WCISA), the John Britton Memorial Trust Fund (the Britton Fund) works for the
public good to promote priority research and educational opportunities for the
advancement in the field of arboriculture in the geographic region of
California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. The Britton Fund is supported by the
generosity of the WCISA community including WCISA members, corporate sponsors
and private contributors who share the belief that education and research
improve the arboricultural profession.
Vision
Ensure a healthy sustainable environment in a changing world through
fundraising, research, and education.
Provide funding for research and education to benefit the field of
arboriculture and urban forestry with emphasis on issues inherent to the
geographic area of
Purpose
Create and enable knowledge by raising financial support for research and education
to promote excellence and advancement in the field of arboriculture for the
public good.

private contributorsand is proud to be an instrument of information and
opportunities for the profession and its representatives.
A separate entity from WCISA, the Britton
Fund receives no funding from annual membership dues to carry out its mission.
Supported by the generosity of the WCISA community, the Britton Fund provides
education, research and scholarships for the benefit of arboricultural professionals
and students. Fund contributors share the belief that education and research
improve the profession.
